What is Peek-a-Brew Play Café?
Peek-a-Brew Play Café is a thoughtfully designed space that brings families and the community together. The café features a curated play area for children up to age six, including a dedicated soft play zone for babies (ages 0–2), a cozy bistro-style café, and a private event space perfect for birthday parties, moms’ night out, and special gatherings. While little ones explore and play, adults can enjoy exceptional coffee in a bright, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a parent looking for an enriching activity, a remote worker seeking a cozy spot, or a local grabbing a latte to go, Peek-a-Brew offers a warm and welcoming experience for all.

Do I need a reservation to visit?
We highly recommend booking your play session in advance, especially during peak times, to guarantee your spot. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows.

What ages is the play space designed for?
Our space is designed with babies, toddlers, and preschoolers in mind—generally ages 0 to 6. Older siblings are welcome as long as they are respectful of the space and younger children.

Do I have to stay with my child while they play?
Yes. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. This helps keep our space safe, fun, and stress-free for everyone.

Do adults need to pay to enter?
Admission is charged per child. Grown-ups are always free.

Is outside food or drink allowed?
We kindly ask that outside food and drinks not be brought in. Our café offers coffee, snacks, and kid-friendly options. If you have specific dietary needs or allergies, please let us know—we’re happy to accommodate whenever possible. We’ve found that keeping food consistent helps us create a safer environment—especially for little ones with food allergies or sensitivities.

Is the play space cleaned regularly?
Cleanliness is one of our top priorities. We sanitize toys and surfaces throughout the day and do a deep clean every evening to keep things fresh and safe. Throughout the café, you’ll also find several clearly labeled and easily accessible bins—affectionately called Germ Jails—where any toys that have gotten dirty during playtime can be placed for cleaning. It’s an easy way for everyone to help keep the space safe and germ-free.

Where are you located and where can I park?
118 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT 06475. We have convenient parking available right in front of the café along with a parking lot to the left of the building. Additional parking is also available along Main Street.
